Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Old Navy in Webster, NY is a full-time, on-site position responsible for supporting store leadership in daily operations. This role oversees sales floor activities, helps drive store performance, and ensures a customer-first experience through active engagement and problem-solving. The Assistant Manager coordinates staff scheduling, guides associates in meeting service and merchandising standards, and supports training and coaching to promote development and accountability. Additional responsibilities include monitoring store presentation, supporting inventory management and loss prevention efforts, and helping implement promotions and company initiatives. The role works closely with the management team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment and uphold brand values. Qualifications Experience in retail or customer-facing environments, with skills in customer service, relationship building, and resolving issues in a professional manner. Leadership and people-management abilities, including coaching, team motivation, delegation, and performance feedback. Operational skills such as basic scheduling, inventory handling, cash management, and adherence to store policies and procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and adapt to a fast-paced setting. Organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks, support store goals, and respond to changing business needs. Availability for a flexible full-time schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by store operations. Prior retail supervisory experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional education in business or related fields is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
