Position Summary: Our Diagnostic Imaging Schedulers are responsible for optimal workflow in scheduling and coordination of Diagnostic Imaging procedures according to department protocols. The DI Schedulers are responsible for procedural screenings, collecting, documenting and obtaining complete and accurate patient medical history necessary to ensure appropriateness and safety for all procedures. Schedules and coordinates invasive and complex patient procedures according to department protocols. Provides patient with information regarding pre-procedural preparation instructions.

Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Two (2) years experience in a hospital or health care related field is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Working knowledge of medical terminology to include diagnosis codes. Accurate grammar, spelling and punctuation skills necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments, employees, physicians and managers. Strong customer service orientation. Basic knowledge of window's based software.
